Job Description
Whether you're on a consumer product (like Gmail, Search, Maps, Chrome, Android) or a business product (Google Ads, AdSense, Google Marketing Platform, Analytics), you take part in a complete marketing experience as you lead every facet of the product's journey. From determining positioning, naming, competitive analysis, feature prioritization and external communications, you help shape the representation of the product and help it grow a consumer base. This means you work with a cross-functional team across Sales, corporate communications, legal, webmasters, product development, engineering and more. In this role, you'll be involved with product marketing strategy from beginning to end.

As the Product Marketing Manager, Artist Go-to-Market Lead for YouTube Shorts, you will shape and advance the brand narrative of YouTube with users, creators, artists, and influencers. You will help grow YouTube Shorts and ensure that YouTube moves at the speed of culture in India.

You will be a cross-functional leader, managing the YouTube Shorts Trends and Artist go-to-market strategy across user insights, industry landscape benchmarking, creative development, product marketing, media planning, owned and operated channels, influencers, and more.

• Manage go-to-market strategy and execution for trends and artist/music culture on YouTube Shorts. Be part of and stay on top of an evolving cultural, policy, and product environment.
• Contribute strategically to insight and innovation as part of the YouTube Marketing team in India, and shape the brand narrative to showcase our Shorts efforts externally to users, creators, artists, and industry.
• Use local data, insights, and nuances to thoroughly understand and align the business on priority areas and opportunities in India.
• Translate complex ideas into simple and intuitive communications, balancing expert analysis with actionable insights.
• Leverage YouTube Shorts to inspire viewers to become creators and express their creativity.


Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 9 years of experience in brand/product marketing or consumer strategy with technology companies.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience in project and program management, and marketing execution across channels.
• Sharp problem-solving skills across product experience, consumer metrics, market dynamics.
• Strong leadership skills, with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in pop culture, music, and short form video trends and content.
