The YouTube Strategy team focuses on our highest priorities, solving complex, ambiguous problems that span early stage growth initiatives, investing in our largest product or business areas, making major operational or organizational changes, and assessing strategic rationale for YouTube external investment opportunities. Throughout, we provide analytics-based insights, ensure cross-functional alignment of goals and execution, help YouTube teams drive our most important strategic initiatives, and advise our senior leadership on the best path forward.
As a Principal you will manage the Strategy, Business Operations, and Analytics and Decision Support (SBA) team. You'll be the senior leader in EMEA, and serve as trusted thought-partner to the VP and the leadership team as well as broader organization. You will also be part of the global SBA leads team, involved with charting the course for YouTube globally.
You will help push some of the team's most crucial global initiatives forward, developing the answers for YouTube's strategic and operational priorities. You will focus on projects defined with the senior leadership at YouTube, provide thought leadership, develop/synthesize recommendations on business decisions, and facilitate alignment across multiple functions within YouTube's product, business, and engineering teams and broader Google.
You will be responsible for key processes that support decision making for the YouTube EMEA leadership team. This includes preparing key decision-making material for global and regional leadership meetings, coordinating cross-functional annual planning, proactively supporting ongoing steering of the business, and providing thought partnership to the different functional regional teams.
