Job Description
YouTube's Product Partnerships team accelerates the global growth and innovation of YouTube's various products by driving new business opportunities through partnerships. We own the business side of new features, products, and initiatives that are critical to the success of YouTube. You will also craft strategies, define and structure critical partnerships, negotiate agreements, and cultivate our relationships.

The YouTube Living Room Product Partnerships team works cross-functionally with internal teams to identify, structure, and execute multi-faceted app distribution agreements while developing strong relationships with partners in order to drive the distribution of YouTube's suite of services (e.g., YouTube Main App, YouTube TV, YouTube Kids) and identify partnership opportunities to aid product development that will drive incremental watch time, daily active users, and subscribers.

As part of the Managed Partners Team, you will be responsible for the direct and proactive management of some of our largest OTT/Streaming Media Device partners. You will provide partner management by creating annual account plans, driving partner-related initiatives, and supporting key YouTube-related programs (e.g., growth tactics, device certification, product-feature integrations).

• Structure partnerships, draft terms, lead negotiations, and execute term sheets on behalf of YouTube.
• Lead and make decisions amidst cross-functional, organizational, and industry complexity to bring open issues to resolution.
• Build detailed account plans, organize, and execute quarterly business review (QBRs) with partners, and drive YouTube presence at key industry conferences.
• Be a domain expert and thought-leader in your coverage area.
• Evaluate new opportunities and present recommendations to key stakeholders. Develop performance KPIs and data driven approaches to measure impact and success.


Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience
• 6 years of experience in business development, Over The Top (OTT) app distribution, streaming video industry, and consumer electronic device partnerships
• Experience in a partner-facing role, analyzing and structuring negotiations, negotiation and execution with consumer electronic device manufacturers

Preferred qualifications:
• MBA or Master's degree in Computer Science or related field
• Experience in consulting
• Experience thriving in ambiguous environments ability to provide insightful, data-driven strategic recommendations to leadership and cross-functional stakeholders
• Understanding of streaming platforms and the consumer electronics hardware industry as it relates to video streaming technologies
• Strategic thinker with the ability to develop customized term sheets, work with legal agreements, and clearly present distilled business agreement issues to executive management when appropriate
• Solid analytical skills and attention to detail being entrepreneurial, persistent, highly-collaborative, and intellectually curious
