The US base salary range for this full-time position is $157,000-$241,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Resonsibilities:
• Partner complex content-licensing agreements and strategic distribution agreements.
• Work cross-functionally to develop and drive partner-related business processes, including escalation of strategic issues. Update internally or externally on product, operational and account changes consistently and collect feedback for internal stakeholders.
• Drive new partnerships, promote new business opportunities to existing partners and manage existing partnerships to optimize business generation and ensure prompt and proper resolution of business issues raised by partners.
• Identify long-term business generation opportunities for partner accounts and drive those opportunities internally and externally.
• Work with management to define and launch strategic business initiatives in the assigned market. Define, analyze and communicate key metrics and business trends.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 8 years of experience in music publishing or licensing music rights.
• Experience with key digital publishing issues and trends in rights management, including synchronization rights, performance licenses, collection societies and publisher/label relationships.
• Experience negotiating music agreements, including music publishing.
Preferred qualifications:
• MBA, JD or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience in consulting, finance, or business development.
• Knowledge of developing a collaborative rapport with clients or business partners, and initiating and driving new business opportunities in digital music or media.
• Knowledge of technological concepts, financial models, and product features with the ability to think strategically and convert complex issues into timely action.
• Ability to take initiative and build strong and productive relationships externally and internally, including executive stakeholders.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-moving, constantly evolving and collaborative environment.
