Internal Communications Manager

Job Description

As part of the YouTube Communications team, you will manage internal communications to and from YouTube's Business organization. YouTube's Business Organization includes the teams who work with YouTube's content partners (creators, artists, and media companies) and product partners, develop YouTube Originals, drive YouTube strategy, and run YouTube's global operations.

In this role, you will develop communication strategies and produce communications for YouTube's senior Business leadership. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams including Marketing, PR, Policy, Engineering, Product, and HR to develop and deliver messaging on complex, nuanced issues. You will provide advice to leadership that reflects a deep understanding of their business priorities and leadership style. You'll coordinate content and speakers for strategic internal events, and represent YouTube's Business organization to all of YouTube and Google. You'll help drive forward YouTube's culture and business strategy by inspiring and aligning the team around YouTube's mission, values, and objectives.

We help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders--and our own employees--about the benefits of Google's products, our distinctive company culture/values and our approach to the big public policy issues of the day. You are quick-witted, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Google, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across PR, comms, marketing, product and beyond.
