It's our job to help inform and educate users, advertisers, partners, opinion leaders, and our own employees, about the benefits of Google and YouTube's products, our distinctive company culture and values, and our approach to the public policy issues of the day.
In this role, you will manage numerous and varied projects with tight timelines simultaneously. You will pitch to journalists, bloggers, and commentators, or produce internal communications and events for our employees.
Resonsibilities:
• Develop creative strategies for communicating to employees about culture and workplace initiatives, including planning the frequency of, and vehicles for, communications and coordinating across different internal teams.
• Develop, write and edit communications for executives, including key messages, speeches, emails, articles, and slide presentations.
• Manage and build partnerships with key internal stakeholders to devise clear communications, and distill subjects into easy-to-understand language across teams and geographies.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in internal communications.
Preferred qualifications:
• Ability to build excellent relationships with stakeholders, and work well across teams, functions, and levels.
• Ability to work calmly and maintain good judgment in fast-paced, high-stress environments.
• Ability to thrive in ambiguity and balance a number of engaging priorities.
• Excellent written and verbal communications skills, with attention to detail.
