gReach Associate, YouTube (English, Japanese)

The gReach Program is a 12 months paid upskilling program for industry professionals with disabilities where participants will receive on-the-job-training and work on a range of projects. The goal of the gReach program is to provide participants from underrepresented groups with the opportunity to grow their career as professionals.

This role is exclusively for people who have a Japanese government-issued disability certificate.

The Partner Development team ensures an exceptional experience for YouTube partners and creators. The team includes Partner Operations, Technology Services, and Creator and Artist Development. This team embodies a partner-first mindset, whether it's building custom tools, providing education to get the most from the platform, or helping creators to grow their channel to the next level. Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, the YouTube Partner Development team provides seamless support to our partners, creators, and artists on YouTube from around the world.

Resonsibilities:
• Provide operational support to managed partners (e.g., media companies, music labels, creators, artists, etc.) through product troubleshooting and partner education.
• Solve the day-to-day issues of our partners, and identify common trends that our partners face.
• Advocate on behalf of our partners to cross-functional teams in order to drive product solutions, and for developing process improvements that enhance internal operations.
• Work closely with other partner-facing teams to provide value-added services to help increase partner happiness and growth.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• Experience working in a project/program management or scaled solutions capacity.
• Ability to communicate in English and Japanese fluently to speak with local and regional partners, customers, and stakeholders.

Preferred qualifications:
• 2 years of experience in a client-facing role.
• Experience being proactive, making constructive suggestions, and coming up with innovative ways to scale initiatives.
• Working knowledge of SQL and spreadsheets.
• Ability to manage priorities and stay organized in a fast paced environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot technical issues and effectively communicate complex topics.
• Excellent communication, presentation planning, and time management skills, with attention to detail.
