Using your relationship-building skills, you provide Google-caliber client service, research and market analysis. You anticipate how decisions are made, persistently explore and uncover the business needs of Google's key clients and understand how our range of product offerings can grow their business. Working with them, you set the vision and the strategy for how their advertising can reach thousands of users.
Our YouTube/Video Commercials team has historically developed the global commercial strategy for our YouTube ads business with a specific focus on the design and execution of our global display and video media incentive programs but is expanding to also include performance ads incentive programs.
In this role, you will be the lead for our global search capability program and liaise between our product managers and business organization to develop compelling Search capability incentives that benefit our customers and Google alike.
YouTube/Video Global Solutions is the link between Google video products and sales. Our mission is to fuel innovation that keeps YouTube and Video free and accessible to the world. We do this by translating global market needs into meaningful product solutions that drive business results for content partners and customers.
Resonsibilities:
• Develop search incentives that address short-term customer challenges and align with the company's wider business metrics while solidifying long-term incentives strategy and supporting infrastructure.
• Consult with Search leads to understand unique market-by-market challenges/drivers, work with regions to develop and deploy a competitive, sustainable incentive model, ensuring Global consistency and regional specifications, and pilot offerings rooted in product and Go-To-Market gaps to inform long term initiatives.
• Lead workstreams to regularly collect customer and business feedback and prioritize program improvements and requests.
• Gather market feedback and oversee the product prioritization process to inform systems requirements to support our search incentive agreements.
• Develop product expertise and an understanding of the market landscape with specific focus on performance media and commercial trends focused on Search.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 5 years of experience in business strategy, finance, or product analyst/specialist.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience working on large, complex, and cross-functional projects while managing competing priorities in an ambiguous environment.
• Experience collaborating and communicating with diverse technical and business stakeholders at all levels, especially on contentious topics, with an ability to lead cross functional groups to consensus.
• Experience analyzing data to identify market trends and make recommendations.
• Ability to engage with internal stakeholders, clearly communicate and lead through influence with cross-functional partners.
• Ability to take an entrepreneurial approach to recognizing needs, solve problems, anticipate issues, and develop solutions.
• Excellent business acumen and strategic thinking.
