Job Description
As a Financial Analyst, you will partner with the YouTube Ads Engineer and Product Management Leadership team to develop a unique perspective on Google's YouTube Ads product businesses.

And nobody at Google loves big numbers like the Finance team when providing in depth analysis on all manner of strategic decisions across Google products. From developing forward-thinking analysis to generating management reports to scaling our automated financial processes, the Finance organization is an important partner and advisor to the business.

Resonsibilities:
• Own the forecasts, financial management, and annual planning for YouTube Ads Opex, COS, and partnership in headcount. Oversee month-end close accrual accounting processes.
• Provide thought partnership/investment tradeoff insights on future funds. Drive excellence around team budgets and disbursement operations, tracking metrics and cost management, and flagging when operations show signs of risk to fund deployment.
• Support monthly profit and loss management and reporting for YouTube Ads. Partner cross-functionally to understand trends and variance drivers and inform forecast updates.
• Partner with other finance stakeholders to understand cross-functional investments made in support of YouTube Ads represented on the YouTube Ads profit and loss.
• Support profit and loss cost allocation methodologies for Engineering Search Ads cost centers.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Statistics, another quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in executing processes to meet accounting month-end close deadlines.
• Experience in financial analysis, modeling, SAP, and presentation development.

Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with regularly presenting to executive management with exceptional communication skills.
• Ability to manage ambiguity in a constantly evolving environment with excellent organizational and attention to detail skills.
• Excellent business judgment, conviction, and confidence to communicate and influence effectively with business partners.
