Job Description

As Director of Studio and Sports Partnerships, you will own the performance of the studio and sports leagues. You will help develop account strategies with direct oversight of agreements, execution, and partner management for studio and sports partners in close collaboration with regional leaders (i.e., AMER, APAC, and EMEA) to collectively deliver upon global priorities. You will also oversee Sports licensing.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $253,000-$363,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Resonsibilities:
• Oversee programming, packaging, and business development for YouTube services. Discuss content agreements with studios and sports leagues across these platforms.
• Build, manage, and develop a high performing, diverse team that drives the success of YouTube's Global MediaCo partnerships, while fostering a culture that encourages creative thinking and risk taking.
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with a broad range of constituents, particularly in product, marketing, sales, and legal, as well as with external partner executives.
• Serve as thought leader and representative of YouTube with partners externally, and be the representative of the partner to the global team internally.
• Leverage industry experience to identify opportunities and risks to inform processes, partnerships, and product roadmap.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 20 years of experience in Business Development.
• 20 years of experience in the MediaCo industry.
• 10 years of experience leading a team within an organization in an online or technology business.

Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree, JD, or other advanced degree.
• Solid executive presence and experience presenting to senior leadership, both externally and internally.
• Ability to structure, analyze, and solve complex business problems, as well as deliver impact against concrete business goals.
• Ability to effectively balance short-term tactical and long-term strategic goals as a general manager.
• Ability to be a thought leader, think strategically, develop an outlook and strategy, and inspire others to follow.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and presentation skills with the ability to operate with flexibility in a fast-paced, constantly evolving and collaborative environment.
