Job Description
The YouTube Partner Program engages millions of content creators - a group that's growing quickly, and will grow even faster in the coming years. Many of these creators are responsible for ''what is original'' on YouTube, and are building the media companies of the future. Fast-paced, dynamic, and proactive, the Partner Development team makes sure that YouTube's creators around the world have a great experience and achieve success on the platform.
The Community Partner Management team was created to support and manage high-potential short-form video creators. Over the past three years, the team has evolved to manage not only Shorts creators but emerging and high-potential creators across multiple YouTube formats (e.g., long-form/VOD, live, Shopping, etc.) as well. We aim to grow a healthy, thriving ecosystem of creators across the globe, as we look to incubate and nurture the top creators of tomorrow.
As a Community Partner Manager, you will engage at scale with these talented creators. You will recruit, educate, engage, and support our emerging creator communities across our major language markets. The role will involve targeted creator onboarding, scalable community communications and engagement, scaled support, and the establishment and execution of an operational model that you'll optimize over time as the community grows.
At YouTube, we believe that everyone deserves to have a voice, and that the world is a better place when we listen, share, and build community through our stories. We work together to give everyone the power to share their story, explore what they love, and connect with one another in the process. Working at the intersection of cutting-edge technology and boundless creativity, we move at the speed of culture with a shared goal to show people the world. We explore new ideas, solve real problems, and have fun - and we do it all together.
Resonsibilities:
• Manage a portfolio of top and emerging creators across formats.
• Identify, onboard, communicate with, and develop YouTube creators at scale.
• Develop scaled communication plans for various segments of the YouTube creator community.
• Collaborate with Marketing and Product on trends and campaigns.
• Analyze creator feedback and recommend/drive changes to existing products, policies, and processes to increase creator satisfaction, activity, and performance.
Qualifications:
Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
• 2 years of experience of working with external partners or agencies or creator service providers, and internal cross-functional stakeholders.
• Experience working with C-level executives and cross-functionally across all levels of management.
• Experience managing agreements or partnerships.
• Experience with creative writing and public speaking.
Preferred qualifications:
• Experience with the video content creation ecosystem (e.g., short-form, long-form, podcast, live).
• Experience identifying and implementing improvements based on data and insights.
• Experience with digital or social media.
• Experience in new business development and project management.
• Deep understanding of and passion for content and creators.
• Excellent writing/editing skills and attention to detail.
