Communications Manager, YouTube (Japanese, English)

As the manager of YouTube Entertainment & Consumer Communications at Google Japan, you will work with YouTube cross-functional teams at Google Japan and a regional YouTube Comms team to lead our overall artist, creator, consumer, entertainment communication strategy against YouTube's business objectives. This work includes developing creator stories, creating an overall narrative of how YouTube creates local moments for creators and artists, promoting YouTube Originals and YouTube Premium services and hosting press events.

You'll need relevant industry expertise, effective reporter relationships, excellent writing and communication skills, and an ability to learn fast and move faster in an ever-changing environment. You'll be a creative problem solver and compelling storyteller capable of earning trust - both internally and externally.

You are a quick, adaptive thinker, entrepreneurial and intellectually curious. To succeed in this role, you are willing to try new things and can manage numerous projects with tight deadlines. Things happen quickly at Google, and to do great work, you need to be an enthusiastic team player who can work cross-functionally with partners across Comms, marketing, product and beyond.
