Job Description
In this role, you will be part of a community of technical data analysts who work on impactful projects ranging from developing critical data pipelines that help run the business, building tools to analyze the content partnerships, and creating ecosystems which guide business leadership on optimizing the effectiveness and efficiency of our partner-facing business teams. You will be responsible for democratizing YouTube's business data, helping business leaders make sense of business operations through timely, accurate, and robust business intelligence. You will use SQL, Python, and YouTube's ETL framework to make useful datasets, establish best practices for data sets and reporting, and develop a breadth of expertise in various data domains. You will represent the business analyst community and own the local implementation of global initiatives.

Resonsibilities:
• Lead end-to-end development and deployment of centralized reports, dashboards, models and tools to analyze, report, and present partnerships and operations related data that is associated with YouTube Content Organization.
• Conduct requirements gathering and project scoping sessions with subject matter experts, business users, and executive stakeholders to discover and define business reporting needs.
• Use effective data visualization and analytical skills to simplify complex business flows and enable faster decision making and execution.
• Own strategy for shared analyst infrastructure (e.g., code base, business intelligence stack), and continually innovate on infrastructure for the analyst community to utilize.
• Advocate for technical best practices within the analyst community on pipelines, dashboards, code review practices, and data concepts. Lead technical training for business analysts.

Qualifications:

Minimum qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or other quantitative field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 4 years of experience in analytics.
• 1 year of experience as a product owner in an analytics area.
• Experience with SQL and relational databases, including queries, database definition, and schema design

Preferred qualifications:
• Master's degree, MBA, or other advanced degree in a relevant field.
• Experience writing and maintaining extract, transform, and load scripts (e.g. ETLs) which operate on a variety of structured and unstructured sources.
• Experience with presenting technical solutions to stakeholders.
• Experience with one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java, C++, etc.).
• Ability to navigate ambiguity and prosper in a fast-paced environment.
