IT Ops Tech
Are you passionate about technology and providing excellent IT support? Join our team at Scripps as an IT Operations Tech II and play a vital role in keeping our systems running smoothly while supporting our employees with their technology needs.
WHAT YOU'LL DO:
• Configure, install, maintain and upgrade computer systems hardware and software
• Administer and maintain security of operating systems
• Restore files or systems by designing, writing and implementing backup procedures
• Provide operational support for the organization's information systems and peripheral equipment, including application servers, database servers, web servers, desktops, printers and storage devices
• Perform recovery procedures, handle scheduling and backups, and monitor batch processes
• Work flexible hours, including occasional holidays, weekends, evenings, and overtime as needed
WHAT YOU'LL NEED:
• High school diploma/GED required
• Associates degree preferred
• 1-3 years of experience in IT support or related field
WHAT YOU'LL BRING:
• Experience with basic system administration tools and processes
• Strong computer networking skills
• Excellent organizational abilities
• Ability to conform to high security environments and execute company security and controls policies
• Skill in working in stressful situations and multi-tasking as needed
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• Some moderate lifting may be required
