WSYR-TV NewsChannel 9 in Syracuse, NY is looking for an on-air Co-Host and producer for its long-running daily lifestyle show. ''Bridge Street'' airs weekdays at 10:00am. The one-hour program is the only show of its kind in the Syracuse television market.

Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate is a skilled and seasoned communicator who is adept at engaging viewers, guests, and clients in a fun non-scripted lifestyle show environment. Knowledge of current events, pop culture, and compelling subjects making news in Central New York is important. The ideal candidate brings strong interview skills, a relatable on-camera personality, and an energetic social media presence. In addition to on-camera hosting of the show, ideal candidate must be competent in producing, shooting, and editing engaging stories in the Central New York Community. Contributing to other WSYR-TV programs and digital platforms is required. Position will include some nights and weekends for shoots, social media contributions, as well as community/promotional events.

Requirements & Skills:
• Minimum two years on-air hosting experience is required
• The ability to help produce the daily lifestyle show
• The ability to write your own stories is required – shooting and editing are a plus
• Our employees excel on multiple platforms – broadcast, web, social media and mobile.
• Proven execution and understanding of how to write for the web, social media, and provide extras on all platforms is required.
• Experience with hosting sales integrated content is a plus
