Lifestyle Executive Producer

Job Description

WSPA-TV/CBS - WYCW/CW Greenville/Spartanburg is seeking a creative and motivated lifestyle Executive Producer to manage an hourlong community-focused lifestyle show.

Responsibilities include:
• Define strategic direction and produce weekday lifestyle show
• Organize show content in a cohesive sequence to engage and grow the audience
• Ensure daily production is highly produced, teases are strong and content adheres to priorities
• Book and schedule live and pre-taped in-studio interviews and on-location segments
• Evaluate entertainment and cultural value of stories for broadcast and website
• Work closely with Sales to integrate & schedule sponsored client segments
• Work with production team on taping schedules and live show management
• Run daily content meetings, provide timely feedback, and make solid decisions
• Booth an hourlong live show Monday – Friday
• Build relationships with guests, clients, community members, and show contributors

Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
• Minimum 5 years' producing a live lifestyle or variety show, or equivalent experience
• Ability to deliver pre-live shows and pre-produced stories on time and on brand
• Must have experience leading a small team and managing show brand
• Must have strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize to meet tight deadlines
• Experience with ENPS and Storyblocks
• Social media fluency
• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud a plus
