WRDW-TV/WAGT-TV is home to the CBS and NBC affiliates in the beautiful southern city of Augusta, GA. The station operates out of a state-of-the-art facility that launched in February 2021. Job Summary/Description:

WRDW/WAGT, a Gray Television owned CBS and NBC affiliate in Augusta, GA is seeking a Broadcast IT Engineer. The Broadcast Engineer will support all programming and post-production at WRDW/WAGT. Duties will include troubleshooting, maintaining, installing studio and editing and IT equipment. The Broadcast Engineer interacts daily with News and Production staff and will be required to follow all WRDW/WAGT/GRAY and FCC standards and guidelines. Troubleshooting, repair and preventive maintenance of television broadcast equipment and broadcast computer networks. Engages Master Control engineering and operations to resolve technical issues. Troubleshoots and repairs a variety of issues with broadcast and IT equipment.

Qualifications/Requirements:
• 2-3 years of professional or broadcast experience preferred
• A Bachelor's Degree or similar certification is preferred, but is not required, as is previous working experience in engineering
• Strong leadership skills and ability to operate in high pressure situations
• Knowledge of professional video photography equipment and techniques
• Ability to learn and adapt quickly to all work situations
• Must be able to work varying hours and weekends
• Professional, communicative, highly self-motivated, detail oriented, and focused individual traits
