WQAD-TV, the TEGNA ABC affiliate in Moline, Illinois, has an immediate opening for a Temporary Producer/Editor. We're looking for a creative and strategic individual to work on the production of a long-format television program.

From idea to execution, the Producer/Editor role is a hands-on position that requires someone with vision and understanding of how to reach targeted audiences across multiple platforms. This role includes writing, shooting, editing, graphic work, and travel.

Responsibilities:
• Write and produce content that engages viewers.
• Must be able to manage all aspects of the creative process, including shooting, lighting, graphics, videography, non-linear editing, and post-production.
• Stay up to date on industry trends and implement new ideas into your work.
• Manage time while juggling multiple projects.
• Collaborate with a variety of team members throughout the creative process.
• Bring creative ideas to brainstorming sessions.

Job Requirements:

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent experience is required.
• A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, 3-4 years is desired.
• Understand and successfully execute writing, lighting, nonlinear editing, and design principals
• Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and other production tools.
• Ability to work in a rapid, fast-paced environment.
• Thrive under tight deadlines.
• Must be able to work independently or as part of a team
• Must be able to pick up 50 lbs.
