Our team produces 41 hours of news each week across our ABC and NBC channels and is committed to local, in-depth special programming that airs in addition to traditional newscasts. Job Summary/Description:

WPTA Television is looking for a dynamic and energetic on-air host for our local sales oriented lifestyle show INsight. INsight airs Monday through Friday 12:30-1p.

The host of INsight will be responsible for presenting local content is an engaging and entertaining way. Working closely with the sales and production departments the ideal host has a great personality, on-air presence, and strong organizational skills. The host is responsible for conducting interviews segments both live in-studio and in the field. Researching show topics and developing questions that highlight our guests' best attributes. Assisting show producer on setting up guests and organizing future shows.

Qualifications/Requirements:
- Minimum 2-3 years professional broadcast experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Strong Ad-libbing and interview skills.
- Must be energetic, positive, and a great team player.
- Must be a highly motivated self-starter, able to work well along or as part of a team.
