Job Description

Wondery (an Amazon company) is seeking a data-driven, methodical, and detail-oriented Senior Product Manager with proven digital media experience to lead our product and subscription growth initiatives, including customer acquisition/retention features and marketing automation efforts. You will be responsible for building and executing against a product & technology roadmap to support and boost the efficiency of growth efforts.

In this role, you will work closely with our marketing, product, and engineering teams to define, build out and optimize features and marketing automation capabilities with the potential to drive short and long-term product, audience, and subscriber growth. You will also help launch products and features on new platforms to enable our customers to enjoy Wondery podcasts and our Wondery+ subscription service across all their devices. You will gather business requirements from marketing and other stakeholders, define product requirements, write user stories, work with engineering teams to design solutions, and approve completed work as part of user acceptance testing. The role requires an attitude that anything is possible, a commitment to prioritization, a deep understanding of customer needs and our tech stack, and a passion for delivering results.

This is a cross-functional role where you will have significant responsibility to drive new features and capabilities across our mobile, web, living room and voice products.

The ideal candidate has experience in product management in a subscription-oriented digital media business, ideally at a media & entertainment company, and is a self-starter with strong product management skills, deep experience building technology-driven products, is analytical, can deftly navigate ambiguity, has excellent communication skills, uses experimentation to create competitive advantage, loves to get their hands dirty with technology, and has great product instincts.

Key job responsibilities
* Build out Wondery's growth and marketing automation product strategy and own the capabilities roadmap
* Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders, including marketing, product, engineering, analytics and more to define and deliver growth features and related product capabilities
* Evangelize the new growth and marketing tech capabilities with stakeholders, providing training and support as needed
* Coordinate with vendors to stay abreast of current/upcoming features that may improve our marketing automation and growth efforts
* Stay abreast of industry trends and make recommendations for product improvements and new features that will help our customer acquisition and retention efforts
* Work with engineering and analytics to oversee the flow of data between marketing tech tools to ensure events/attributes match intended marketing goals
* Work with marketing vendors to troubleshoot and implement new marketing automation efforts

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 2+ years of end to end product delivery experience
• 5+ years of technical product or program management experience
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience contributing to engineering discussions around technology decisions and strategy related to a product
• Experience with feature delivery and tradeoffs of a product
• Experience owning/driving roadmap strategy and definition

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Experience improving customer acquisition and retention for a B2C media product

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $121,000/year in our lowest geographic market up to $235,200/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Salary Details
Salary: $121,000 Per Year ($ USD)
