Launched in 2016, and known for its immersive podcasts, Wondery became the fastest network to join the Top 10 ranker by Podtrac, propelled by hit shows such as Dr. Death, Dirty John, American History Tellers, Business Wars, Hollywood & Crime, and Gladiator. Thirty-one of Wondery's shows have reached #1 on Apple Podcasts, and Wondery is the only publisher to have simultaneously claimed the #1 and #2 ''Top New Podcasts'' slots on an annual Podtrac ranker. In 2020, Wondery launched the Wondery app, its new direct-to-consumer product offering the company's Wondery+ premium service, providing our fans with a new premium listening experience.

We are seeking an experienced marketing professional to own paid user acquisition and growth efforts for Wondery+ and the Wondery app. You will own campaign management and optimization, define the investment framework approach, build measurement capabilities and experimentation to scale Wondery+ subscribers from Paid Media. You will collaborate with Wondery Finance, Creative, Product and BI on deliver on performance marketing goals and be required to present learnings & insights to leadership.

Key job responsibilities
• Own paid advertising strategy and execution to drive worldwide customer acquisition
• Build robust tracking, attribution, and overall data infrastructure in partnership with Product/BI teams.
• Manage relationships with key partners in the advertising ecosystem (e.g. Google, Apple, Facebook, Mobile Measurement Partners).
• Provide performance reporting on all marketing campaigns and take relevant action on insights gained.
• Collaborate closely with technical, business, finance and design teams within Amazon to manage simultaneous time-sensitive projects.
• Experiment across platforms, conducting deep data analysis to uncover new opportunities for growth.
• Coordinate with other Amazon performance marketing professionals to leverage relationships, establish best practices for marketing and collaborate on a unified Amazon vision.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience
• Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs
• Experience using data and metrics to measure impact and determine improvements
• Experience using Microsoft Excel to manipulate and analyze data
• Experience presenting metrics and progress to goal to senior leadership

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• 6+ years of ROI-focused digital marketing experience in a consumer facing technology organization, including the strategic management and hands on execution of paid media channels (SEM, Mobile, Paid Social etc.). 3+ years of mobile advertising experience.
• Experience in building ROI-based investment framework and managing multi-million dollar paid media budgets.
• Experience building, executing and scaling marketing programs across multiple international markets.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including the ability to work with large data sets.
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills, with a natural curiosity to measure, test, learn and iterate in order to get the best results possible.
• Excellent leadership and communication (written and verbal) skills to drive recommendations, articulate tradeoffs and communicate plans to senior executives.
• Direct, hands-on experience with Google, Apple Search Ads and programmatic audio/video networks
• Experience in driving the implementation of a technology stack (e.g. mobile attribution partner, fraud prevention)
• Experience in the entertainment, media industry and/or subscription business.
