In this role, you will take a handoff of content, metadata and marketing assets from creators and marketers and ensure timely and accurate publishing to all platforms, including 1st Party (Amazon-owned platforms, such as Amazon Music or Wondery.com) and 3rd Party (such as Apple Podcasts or Stitcher) platforms, both for ad-supported content and premium Wondery+ distribution. For new shows, you will setup RSS feeds and distribute them to 3rd Parties, and create and manage show presences on 1st Party platforms. You will work closely with marketing and business stakeholders to execute complex windowing strategies for content across ad-supported and premium platforms, and with product and customer service to triage and remediate production issues in the field.

Key job responsibilities
• Manage content publishing to & curation of wondery.com and Wondery+, including the site home page, show pages, and other editorial content and features
• Manage and execute library maintenance projects, such as bulk reviews and updates to library episodes across Wondery's portfolio
• Oversee flawless publishing of content for Wondery original podcasts through hosting platforms (i.e. Art19), Apple Podcasts Connect, third-party distribution outlets, and Amazon-owned services
• Review published episodes on a variety of platforms for quality assurance
• Coordinate with Content and Production team to ensure on-time publishing of all content to all required platforms
• Work closely with Ad Operations to ensure content publishing aligns with sales objectives
• Work closely with Marketing to ensure content publishing aligns with marketing objectives
• Work closely with Head of the Production
• Work closely with Product Management team to ensure content publishing strategy aligns with product and business objectives, publish content to enable testing of new products and product features, and provide feedback and input that drives improvements to the overall content workflow
• Ensure clear communication to all stakeholders when there are delays with execution

About the team
Wondery (an Amazon company) is seeking an experienced, collaborative and enthusiastic person for the position of Digital Operations Marketing Specialist. This is a full-time position in Wondery's Digital Operations team, which focuses on distributing Wondery's expanding podcast portfolio to the world, including 1st Party and 3rd Party, globally. It is a cross-functional role that requires a process-driven and operational mindset, keen attention to detail, as well as technological skill and aptitude. The ideal candidate will be self-driven and have a combination of experience and attitude that will help them thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. You must be an avid podcast listener.

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
• 3+ years experience in program or project management
• Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements
• Experience working cross functionally with tech and non-tech teams

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Bachelor's degree
• 4+ years experience in digital media publishing operations (podcasts, digital ads, audio and/or video)
• Written and oral communication
• Experience with MS Office tools
• Fluent understanding of the podcast publishing ecosystem
• Experience working with podcast content management systems across multiple podcasts, such as ART19, Megaphone, Simplecast, or Omny
• Experience working in WordPress or other common web content management system
