WKBN 27, WYFX and 33 WYTV, the CBS, FOX and ABC affiliates in Youngstown, Ohio have an immediate opening for a versatile, multi-tasking Special Project Producer.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. You will be tasked with responsibilities that cross various departments including sales, news, digital and marketing.
Organizational skills and attention to details are a must to succeed. An effective candidate must demonstrate the ability to communicate through writing, presentation, and verbal skills.

This person should be a strong writer that can help grow our stations' industry-leading digital and broadcast platforms. You will be a digital content creator for a variety of sales-oriented stories, local events and more. Your responsibilities include scheduling and producing these digital stories. The person in this position will be expected to interact with individuals from other businesses in a professional, confident manner.

Social media is a key part of this position. This producer will utilize social media to promote topical content and sales initiatives on a daily basis.

The position will also include spearheading numerous revenue-generating content projects throughout the year. This requires coordination with multiple departments and working with strict deadlines.

JOB SUMMARY: Hard-working individual with the ability to multi-task and work with various departments. You will create local sales-driven stories for our digital platforms, strategically utilize social media and coordinate various special sales projects throughout the year.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:
• Write and produce digital content in coordination with our sales department
• Digital and broadcast marketing of our station brands
• Organize numerous sales/content projects throughout the year
• Appear as on-camera talent for select station initiatives

Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
• Key skills – Multi-tasking, detail oriented, strong communicator
• Must be able to interact in a team environment
• Working knowledge of digicasting and broadcasting operations, equipment, terminology

Education/Experience:

College degree preferred. Experience in television or similar field preferred but not required.

Work Environment/Physical Requirements:

Managerial stress dealing with deadlines and multiple projects.

Valid driver's license
