Job Description

WJZY/FOX Charlotte (DMA #21) is hiring an on-air Co-Host for its hourlong live lifestyle show, launching this summer.
• Responsibilities include:
• Delivering live lifestyle and entertainment news every weekday
• Conducting compelling interviews and engaging demonstrations with guests and clients, both in studio and on location
• Contributing their best ideas in content discussions and pitch meetings
• Working closely with the EP/Co-host, Producer, Videographer/Editor, as well as the Sales & Marketing teams to put on the best show day-in and day-out
• Writing stories & posts for the show's website and social media pages
• Participating in community events to help promote the show
• Assisting sales on presentations, as needed
• Requirements & Skills
• • Minimum three years on-hosting experience in a live production environment
• Ability to write stories for TV and web
• Ability to shoot and edit stories a huge plus
• ENPS experience a plus
• Demo reel of previous hosting experience required (no exceptions).
