Job Description
WJBF NewsChannel 6, the ABC affiliate in Augusta GA is seeking a Graphic Designer to create visually compelling graphics for our top-rated daily news programs, sales-sponsored station initiatives and multi-media marketing materials.

This position will work closely with the Creative Services Director, Marketing and Commercial Production staff to execute design concepts for all station projects. You will interact daily with news management, producers, directors and sales to successfully create visually compelling designs that enhance the storytelling process for our daily newscasts, as well as visual branding elements for our client base.

If creating cutting edge graphics is what you live for, we want to hear from you. Attention to detail is a must, with the ability to quickly develop creative solutions.

Two to three years related experience preferred. To be considered, you must provide an impressive online portfolio, showcasing the versatility and scope of your style, design and creativity.
*Maintain and advance the visual brand of WJBF NewsChannel 6, while creating, managing and organizing all graphic needs and related files for multiple projects
* Create visual design elements for newscasts, special reports and station initiatives
* Design logos, graphics and branding elements for our client base
* Serve as the internal expert on our Ross Xpression graphic system
* Create design elements for our internal and external marketing efforts

Required Skills:
* Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop and Illustrator is required.
* Experience with Ross Xpression, non-linear video editing using Premiere and After Effects, and Cinema 4D is a definite plus

Education
* College degree in Graphic Design, Communication or related field preferred
