Job Summary/Description:

Seeking a hands-on TMP Supervisor to oversee TMP staffing, shows, and commercial ingestion for all WCSC stations. Technical Media Producers are responsible for coding & directing live newscasts, running master control, monitoring on-air signals, transmitters, FCC logs, and ingesting daily programming and commercial content. The ideal candidate for TMP Supervisor will be an excellent problem solver, possess strong leadership and organizational skills and be able to perform well under pressure in a highly competitive work environment. We are seeking a strong leader & trainer with excellent communication skills, able to manage others. If you have experience in live television production, a technical background and enjoy a fast-paced environment this management position may be for you.

Duties/Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
• Scheduling, supervising and training TMP staff.
• Code and Direct live and prerecorded news productions.
• Work with news producers and team to prepare for newscasts.
• Running master control programming, ingest commercials and program content.
• Monitoring on-air signals, transmitter readings, and other FCC duties as assigned.
• Ability to monitor and fix problems with logs, (Crispin)

Qualifications/Requirements:
• Knowledgeable at operating PCs and automation software.
• Live Newscast experience, MCR/MCO experience
• Must be able to work effectively and meet deadlines.
• Candidates must be willing and able to work a flexible schedule including weekends, overnights, and special projects.
• Leadership abilities including great communication skills and problem-solving ability under pressure.
• Requires skill with Ross Overdrive automation, Ross production video switcher, VizRT graphics system, Evertz master control video switcher, Crispin Master Control automation, Edius editing software and all supporting equipment in Production/Master Control ( remote camera operation, prompter operation, audio operation, commercial/promo ingesting, satellite/ENG/bonded cellular operation, program ingesting/segmenting, and desktop editing).
