WCJB has an a senior sales position open in our Gainesville office. We have one of the top sales teams company-wide. Duties/Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
* Generate sales leads and close new business
* Sell products and services across all platforms (broadcast TV, digital, and social media)
* Provide input on sales promotion ideas
* Retain current clients and develop new business contacts
* Attain budgeted revenue goals through effective solicitations, promotions and service
* Understand the business objectives and advertising strategies of clients and find ways to help them achieve their objectives through effective advertising and fresh ideas
* Our broadcast sales area is from Lake City to Ocala and points east and west; our digital footprint is everywhere!
* Other duties as assigned

Qualifications/Requirements:
* Media sales experience required
* Proven track record of closing new business and/or building customer relationships
* Great communication and people skills
* Strong organizational and written skills
* Competitive, energetic and self-starter
* Professional appearance a must
