The Daily
• Collaborate with production, engineering, design, and art teams to identify and define feature requirements and contribute to the graphics technology roadmap
• Research, develop, implement, and document performant solutions for high-quality rendering in AAA, real-time graphics
• Perform CPU and GPU performance profiling and optimization on all supported platforms.
• Collaborate with engineers in designs and code and architecture reviews
The Essentials
• 6+ years of experience working in the game industry or related field
• Strong fundamentals in Computer Science and Bachelor's degree in CS or equivalent experience
• Understanding of computer architecture, CPUs, GPUs, multithreading, and memory systems on all relevant platforms
• Strong understanding of rendering pipelines and industry graphics APIs
• Demonstrated experience with development, deployment, and debugging on consoles
• Ability to code and optimize C/C++ and shader code (HLSL or similar)
• Strong demonstrated debugging skills on both CPU and GPU
• Strong background in 3D math, linear programming, and computational geometry
• Ability to work in environments with challenging problems and ambiguous requirements
• Ability to collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to translate expressed needs into engineering requirements
The Nice to Haves
• Experience leading technical projects or as a lead engineer
• Experience with the graphics pipeline in the Unreal Engine
• Experience in and passion for real-time graphics and games development
• Familiarity with PBR and ray-tracing
