Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis

Coordinate financial activities across WMG, including leading and developing financial analysis with financial dashboards and management reporting. Coordinate accounting, tax and treasury to ensure deals maximize investment returns. Provide financial and strategic support to labels, departments and senior management, serving as business advisor on various projects across WMG. Oversee and develop financial models and strategic assessments to address key business issues, including evaluation of new business models, competitive analyses, business and operational planning, ROI analyses of WMG's investments in new businesses and technologies. Assist in assessing potential M&A targets; conduct pre- and post-transaction M&A deal analyses and valuations; oversee end-to-end transaction process from leading diligence through to operational integration and launch of new entities. Manage approval process for executive approval-level deals, including preparation and submission of transaction summaries. Conduct songwriter, artist and digital deal analysis. Support WMG's global target and budget process, including evaluating global music market forecasts by territory, quantifying investment opportunities and returns and accounting for financial impact of various operational events/decisions. Reqts: Master's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or a related field and 2 years of experience in the position offered or related position, or Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Business Administration, Finance or a related field and 5 years of experience in the position offered or a related position, including 2 years of experience with: creating new top-down DCF models and bottoms-up operating models for content / IP-based businesses; preparing and presenting financial diligence results and ROI on investments to C-Suite; content or digital distribution strategic analysis in an international context; managing due diligence from both a commercial and accounting perspective (US GAAP and IFRS), and coordinating third-party advisors (e.g. legal, tax); and at least two of the following: music catalog or film library valuation, operational planning for new entity roll-out or integration, digital content distribution (music or video).
