Job Title: Solutions Architect - SAP

A little bit about our team:

This role is needed to make sure that current and future design of the global financial transformation project (FIT) aligns with the future needs of WMG. This is considered a key role since role owner will be included in all aspects of current and future design. This role provides a great opportunity to understand the overall landscape of WMG and the financial transformation that it's going through. Role owner will be working with the immediate FIT functional and technical team members in addition to key legacy stake holders.

The FIT program is one of the biggest and high profile initiatives at WMG. Being a key member of this project provides a great opportunity to engage with a large team from all areas of IT and the business to gain an overall understanding from production of our product/services all the way to paying out to the artist. This program will also provide the chance to learn about a lot of the new technologies being used by our competitors to stay ahead of the game.

Here you'll get to:
• Responsible for development and design of global SAP technical landscape to support all the required business modules making optimum use of on-premises and cloud based technologies.
• Manage complex Netweaver portal environment.
• Responsible for designing and reviewing the SAP Business Intelligence 4.0 including Business requirements for reporting, Design Documents, selecting the correct Business Object tool, designing universes to incorporate data from multiple sources including SAP BW and SAP ECC.
• Demonstrates proficiency in areas of business continuity, security and data privacy; ensures systems are designed and built with appropriate levels of protection.
• Prepare detailed functional, Technical specs for development activities including reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, and forms.
• Strong Working knowledge of Solution manager to manager functional blueprints to implement solutions, configuration, testing, training, and post-implement documentation across all sub-modules.
• Oversee integration testing to insure new functionality and enhancements don't adversely affect existing functionality.
• Responsible for designing and managing the SAP instance strategy to ensure a single, global production instance of SAP with the necessary development and test instances to support expanded functionality and global rollout.
• Responsible for technical architecture required for FI-CO, AP, AR, PS, PI, MM, BI, BW, DS & master data components to fully support existing end to end Procure to Pay, record to Report, Project Systems, Order to Cash, & Royalty accounting business functions.
• Manager and support multiple on-demand test data sets using TDMS.
• Key focus area is the functional integration points across the SAP core components, SAP technology components and other non-SAP technology sets. The incumbent will work closely with members of other technical teams to ensure feasible, practical and appropriate end to end solutions.
• Develop impact assessments as it relates to landscape changes / revisions / additions.
• Responsible for managing the outsourced SAP Basis & Security processes, service delivery and service level management.
• Ensure timely issues identification, resolution, and appropriate escalation.

About you:
• 10+ years IT experience designing enterprise systems with an emphasis on globally available applications with minimum 8 + years of experience in SAP technical design roles with strong focus on SAP ECC and BW.
• Strong implementation experience in SAP Finance and Reporting
• Subject Matter Expert on SAP landscapes and related architecture, must be certified SAP Netweaver (OS and DB)
• Certification on SQL or Oracle database is highly desired.
• Strong working experience on TDMS and SSO including SPNEGO and Siteminder.
• Strong design & implementation experience on SAP-PI for SAP and non-SAP integrations.
• HP-UX and Windows SAP environment implementation experience is necessary.
• SAP virtualization using hypervisor or VMware is required.
• 6 + years of management experience of multi system landscape architecture and integration aspects between heterogeneous system technologies
• Experience with a variety of technologies/approaches with packaged application integration, SaaS, workflow, EAI/ESB, SOA, networking and operating system concepts
• In-depth knowledge of SAP Basis & Security management
• Strong ability to interact with all levels of the organization (from junior staff to senior IT executives)
• Possesses strong collaboration, communication and influencing skills.
• Ability to work effectively with a distributed multi-culture international team, across time-zones with minimal supervision.
• Experience managing 3rd party contractors and offshore development resources is highly desirable.
• Preferred music industry or similar experience
• Ability to achieve results through influence over external and internal staff who are direct reports as well as those who are not.
• Strong knowledge and experience with Windows applications including Microsoft Excel, Project, Word, PowerPoint and Visio.
• Travel to other WMG locations, as necessary (domestic and international).

Job Posting Range
$160,000 - $220,000 Annually

Job Posting Ranges are included for all New York and California job postings and 100% remote roles where talent can be located in NYC and CA. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
