As a Designer, you will be tasked with conceptualizing, creating and managing our artists' visual world. This world comes to life via. moodboards or concept boards, directing photoshoots, creation or directing single or album artwork imagery and packaging. This role is critical to the success of our artists' projects, so we are looking for someone who can understand the artists' creative vision and bring it to life as a visual language for the artists' internal team and management team to utilize for the life of the project.
We believe in the partnership across creative and marketing teams, so we work very closely with the Creative Marketing and Digital Strategy teams from the start to end of the project. Collaboration with the creative teams Video Producer and Digital Creative teams is key, as our projects are collective and cohesive across all creative touchpoints in the artist roll out.
Here you'll get to:
• Conceptualize and create the visual language for our artists.
• Collaborate and being open to ideas with the assigned internal Creative Leads artists, management, marketing, digital strategist, streaming and sales departments for the artists branding and roll out
• Discover, develop and maintain relationships with current and emerging creative talent: photographers, stylists, illustrators, designers, etc.
• Direct and manage creative talent as needed on projects photographers, illustrators, stylists, designers, etc.
• Conceive, direct and produce photo shoots for single, album or press shoots.
• Direct and/or design logos and identity for Artists, as well as company marketing and initiatives.
• Conceptualize and design front line packaging for both retail and our D2C stores. This includes CD, Cassette and multiple vinyl configurations, amongst other items.
• Edit photo shoots and direct the retouching of images
• Negotiate fees for photo shoots including photographers, stylists, make-up artist, prop stylists, and hair stylists
• Have a roster, but also work with the team and collaborate on projects.
• Participate in team meetings, weekly project updates, creative brainstorms, artist meetings and department meetings.
• Use our project management tools and asset management systems to keep all work collaborative and communicated daily.
About you:
• You have 5-8 years of relevant experience
• You must have a rock star portfolio with a wide range of examples of genres
• You must have fundamental and/or expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite
• You are someone who understands current design trends, tech trends and social platforms, you can be a great addition to the team.
• You are a teammate, and will share creative input and feedback with other designers
• You can communicate your ideas verbally and/or in emails
• You can multitask, prioritize and manage multiple deadlines and urgent tasks
• You understand no job is too big or too small
• You are excellent at listening, interpreting, self-starting, and presenting.

• Other creative skill sets that can be used to create assets for our artists, we are always looking to grow our team skills, like illustrator, photographer, animator or editor.
• Open to learning new skills, as technology and the internet is always changing

This position requires a minimum of four days per week in the office. We value in-office collaboration and believe it's essential for talent development and fostering strong working relationships.
Salary Range
$75,000 to $95,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
