Job Title: Manager, Digital Accounts, Order to Cash
A little bit about our team:
The US Shared Services organization is part of WMG's Center of Excellence and consists of five departments: Analysis, Finance, Legal, Licensing, and Reporting. Employees of the Center provide services to all of WMG's US record labels, Warner/Chappell Music Publishing, WEA Corp. and Alternative Distribution Alliance (WMG's distribution companies), and WMG's other US business units.
Credit – Provides superior credit services to support Label AR, Physical and Digital product sales in the US directly and indirectly through Infosys, a BPO service partner.
Here you'll get to:
• Lead the Digital Credit accounts team and ensure operational tasks are being completed as required. Candidate will own and be responsible for invoicing, collections, cash application, credit & risk review processes. Candidate will also play an active role in cash forecasting, bad debt management, and will liase with various staeholders within and outside the organization.
• Facilitate setup and tracking of new accounts and sub-retailers for domestic and international partners including credit file review and credit line maintenance.
• Provide input and analysis relating to risk of Digital Accounts as needed and overall management of the Risk Review schedule and timeline for the Digital portfolio.
• Serve as primary contact for SS Accounting, Legal, WEA Finance, Revenue Assurance, Legal and Business Teams.
• Review contracts for terms, advances, payments, reporting, and pricing for use in various tracking and reconciliation projects.
• Manage and track Invoice Advance/Guarantees, Formatting, and Prep Fees to insure timely payment.
• Implement, translate and review contractual language for digital customers in order to properly calculate, establish, update and audit pricing structures/setups, and communicate Preparation/Formatting fees, Advance/Guarantees, and all billing revenue to be collected on a timely basis.
• Accurately record and report all digital revenues by media type and insure that all digital revenue is matched, posted, and applied properly.
• Prepare Un-recouped Advance schedule.
• Assist in preparing Cash Forecasts for Digital Accounts, timely and ensure it is reconciled with WEA and Corporate Finance teams.
• Prepare accruals for outstanding unprocessed or revised sales reporting files.
• Work with customers to resolve account discrepancies and collect any additional monies.
• Ensure proper tracking of Digital Income for cash projection and application references.
• Oversee daily cash reporting, and other follow-up processes as needed.
• Manage preparation of invoices for pricing, manifest, suspense, compliance and/or product code issues, when required.
• Develop efficient, innovative ways to streamline and improve processes around use and storage of data reported, i.e. Current List, Digital Income and other excel spreadsheets currently in use.
• Concentrate on portfolio clean up activities while maintaining an eye on process improvement possibilities.
• Completing account reconciliations, reviewing and escalating collection efforts, creating standardized recs and account histories will also be required.
• Leading account review, cash forecast and bad debt meetings with Corporate Controllership and Finance Shared Service Leaderhip.
• Facilitate monthly royalty payments for SoundExchange.
• Support revenue recognition function where applicable.
• Own and review SOX controls established and operating over the Digital portfolio.
About you:
• Must have an understanding of accounts receivable, claims resolution and reconciliation
• Minimum of two years leading a team of subordinates
• History of leading presentations made to senior level executives
• Project Management experience
• Bachelor's degree required
• Training/hands on experience with SAP/Vistex would be a bonus
• Formal training/certifications in project management would be a bonus
• Foreign langage skill swould be a bonus

• Detailed understanding of Digital Processes and deals administration.
• Ability to own processes and manage subordinates toward a goal.
• Must be able to manage and track multiple projects simultaneously.
• Must be able to manipulate data in a heavy volume spreadsheet environment.
• Able to meet deadlines with an attention to detail and highly accurate.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written).
