Job Title: Financial Analyst

A little bit about our team:

The Finance team at Rhino supports all aspects of financials for the record label including Marketing, A&R, Revenue, Overhead and Expense reporting. We're a tight-knit team where you'll gain experience from a variety of backgrounds and have exposure to many areas within Rhino.

Why this could be your next big break:

As a Financial Analyst, you'll be gaining Finance experience in a fun industry. You'll be reporting to the Senior Director, Finance and will be responsible for supporting the close and forecasting processes. This will give you give you unique insight into various areas of the business ranging from A&R and Marketing to Overhead. All while working in our energizing DTLA office.

Here you'll get to:
• Prepare project P&Ls for presentation to key executives to analyze performance and profitability; track actuals versus P&L expectations.
• Manage Overhead activity for actuals, budget, and forecasts; provide variance analysis comparing plans to actuals.
• Set up new artists and projects in our SAP system and communicate set ups with other departments.
• Open POs, set up new vendors, process invoices as needed
• Work with the UK Catalog team to open POs and process invoices for intercompany rebills
• Train users on Ariba / SAP / Concur. Understand system functions and capabilities in order to assist new users.
• Troubleshoot Ariba, PO, Invoice, vendor creation issues with users.
• Prepare ad hoc journal entries during the month-end close.
• Compile data and generate reports from the various systems including SAP/BW, Atlas, and GCDM.
• Be involved in transition to new finance systems – user acceptance testing, implementation & training.

About you:
• Strong finance background with a minimum of two years of experience
• Strong analytical skills, very proficient in systems and excel.
• The right person for this position must be able to work well under pressure and have the ability to meet deadlines and pay close attention to detail.
• The position also requires someone who is highly organized with a strong ability to multi-task, a self-starter, but someone who takes direction, works well with change and is a team player.

It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Music or Entertainment Industry experience
• Finance and/or Accounting degree
