Job Title: Consultant, A&R/Publishing
A little bit about our team:
The teams at Warner Music Nashville & Warner Chappell work to identify, sign and develop culture defining artists & songwriters. Among our values, we hold teamwork, creativity, and collaboration among the most important.
Your role:
You will be based in the Texas market and provide a bridge to both Warner Music Nashville & Warner Chappell Nashville for potential artist and/or songwriter signings.
Here you'll get to:
• You will foster and maintain relationships with writers, artists, producers, managers, and music executives in the Texas creative community
• You will spend time in studios with artists who we are considering partnering with. This will be in the Texas area predominantly
• You will be monitoring and spending a great deal of time on meaningful social media platforms including TikTok, Instagram, SnapChat
• You will be available as needed for phone and video calls and travel back and forth to Nashville
• You will be responsible for maintaining communication with artists and their teams as we discuss a potential deal with each artist and/or songwriter.
• Work with the existing Warner Music Nashville A&R Team on specific projects as directed.
• Work with the existing Warner Chappell Roster & Nashville team on setting up writing sessions with writers based in Texas market.
• Look for opportunities to place songs with artists and any song exploitation in the Texas market.

• You have a genuine interest in the trends that emerge from these platforms
• You have a wide taste in music that spans multiple genres
• You are a detail oriented and methodical person who understands and appreciates the relationship between the details of a task and their effect on an outcome
• You are ready to work in a fast-paced work environment that has a level of urgency to it
• You are comfortable voicing an unpopular opinion in a group, especially if you are the only one with such an opinion
• Experience with artists and/or songwriters of some kind in the music industry
• Had a wide network within the music industry and music space
• Are comfortable with being asked to travel last minute

Salary Range
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
