A little bit about our team:

This role is fully remote. The Finance Transformation team is a group of professionals across the WMG organization brought together to re-imagine our processes and systems to establish better ways of working that will drive WMG's growth and business aspirations. We are now working to deliver standard systems, tools and global business processes for the Finance organization across all of Warner Music Group.

Your role:

This role is not for the faint of heart!
Our challenge is great, our tasks are brain wrecking, but our success will enable finance process efficiency and operations insights Warner has never seen before.
Our strategy is set, we've designed all new processes, and we've built a modern technology model that is in its final stages of testing and development. Now, it's time to make it all sing.

You will be instrumental in helping collect, review, modernize, write, socialize and edit a variety of corporate and accounting policies and processes. These guidelines, including both operating and reporting requirement details, will be important to a successful transition from as-is to to-be. You'll be challenged to use all your critical thinking, analysis, communication, organization and writing skills to make that happen. And, you'll work cross-functionally with many key stakeholders. Your work will help position Warner finance and accounting teams to deliver world-class levels of service to our businesses, songwriters and artists so they can focus on making great music.

Here you'll get to:
• Play an important role on the finance transformation team you will report directly to the VP, Finance Transformation within the Finance Transformation program team.
• Work closely with stakeholders to review and clarify business policies and policy-related process details
• Document policies and controls to meet business and regulatory needs, including process deviations to meet unique business or country-specific needs
• Support or facilitate cross-functional meetings to identify potential challenges, help manage the resolution process and appropriately document solutions
• Assemble, write, and edit policy documents and processes models, including end user instructions process narratives and SOX controls
• Collaborate with peers and subject matter resources to incorporate feedback to improve deliverable quality
• Support the Finance Transformation team with analysis and presentations as needed
• Perform other cross-functional or cross-departmental responsibilities based on need

About you:
• You love a challenge and can multi-task, prioritize time, and work under pressure to meet deadlines with shifting priorities
• Ability to work proactively, independently, and remotely or as a strategic partner in a virtual team environment
• Strong analytical skills with expertise in understanding business requirements and a wide variety of business, accounting and regulatory policies
• You have excellent business process documentation and written communication skills
• You have experience with finance and accounting policies and processes including Record to Report, Procure to Pay, Order to Cash, and Revenue accounting and associated accounting controls
• You have experience helping plan and facilitate cross-functional working sessions
• You are an advanced or power user of MS Visio, Excel and PowerPoint and Word
• You have flexibility regarding tasks assigned to you

We'd love it if you also had:
• Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university in business, accounting, finance, or a related field
• 5+ years working hands-on in business policy analysis with and technical writing
• A proven track record of working on large scale, fast-paced, and dynamic projects
• Knack for effectively distilling down complex requirements, guidelines and instructions into clear, concise, and actionable documentation
• Interpersonal skills to work effectively with leadership and SMEs from various business units
• Tireless work-ethic with effective organizational skills with attention to detail
