The Content Acquisition team drives revenue success via establishing creative partnerships with the independent community and maximizing their growth within Alternative Distribution Alliance (ADA). As part of the Warner Music Group, ADA is a worldwide distribution solution and marketing service organization that is deeply committed to the independent artist and label community. ADA gives independent artists, labels and creators access to a bespoke global distribution network and a dedicated, passionate team of experts that provide a panoramic suite of services that includes sales/marketing, digital marketing and fan acquisition solutions, radio promotion, music/synch licensing and much more.
Your role:
As Associate Manager, Content Acquisition, you will be responsible for leading day-to-day administrative responsibilities for Content Acquisition at ADA. The intention of this role is to help organize and streamline content acquisition workflow, creating efficiencies that will help expand ADA's global footprint in the market. This will involve collaboration with several teams across ADA, including A&R, Synch, Legal, and Finance. You will report to the VP of A&R and Content Acquisition.
Here you'll get to:
• Research target partners and labels; gather and process data on the US independent music market
• Organize deal flow across active conversations, memorializing terms and tracking statuses
• Cultivate a network of contact within the independent music community, and make creative connections with a goal of drawing incremental business
• Liaise between deal team, label management, and operations teams to coordinate onboarding for new clients
• Set pitch meetings with the wider team, distilling context internally and preparing decks as needed
• Produce and maintain reports and charts to communicate deal strategies and track progress
About you:
• You are highly organized with a strong attention to detail and follow up, & can work in a team environment
• You have excellent interpersonal skills
• You can work under pressure, communicate effectively, and deliver on deadlines
• You are experienced with A&R research
• You are a problem solver, with the ability to reach out the right people to work through roadblocks and accelerate timelines
We'd love it if you also had:
• A college degree
• 1-3 years experience in independent music distribution space and/or at traditional record labels in an A&R research capacity.

This position requires a minimum of four days per week in the office. We value in-office collaboration and believe it's essential for talent development and fostering strong working relationships.
Salary Range
$64,350 to $65,000 Annually
Salary ranges are included for job postings where required by law. The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as work experience and business needs. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external factors.
