Warner Music's Center of Excellence is the home to the financial, legal and administrative functions that provide critical support and best-in-class services to our US Recorded Music and Publishing businesses. The Nashville center embodies the innovative and creative spirit that stems from the company's deep history in nurturing entrepreneurial thinking and artist-focused innovation, enabling our employees to develop a wide range of skills through cross-function collaboration and development opportunities.

The Vendor Management Team is a newly established team that is responsible for validating vendor information for new vendors and changes to existing vendors. This group is responsible for serving all departments serviced by the US Shared Service center.

Why this could be your next big break:

The Vendor Management analyst be responsible for managing vendor activities and maintaining both new and existing vendor relationships. This role is part of the vendor management team which rolls up into COE Operations. This individual will empower the Shared Service Center to provide world class, innovative service to our US record label clients across a variety of value-added initiatives.

Here you'll get to:
• Monitor vendors to ensure compliance with company policies.
• Proactively assists in the oversight of a fraud risk management using data extraction, data analytics and management reporting.
• Analyze activity to detect and prevent fraudulent activity based on reports, alerts, or notifications from third parties requesting assistance.
• Conduct research on available vendors to confirm vendor data is accurate and up to date.
• Continually monitoring vendor information
• Establish standards by which to assess the performance of approved vendors.
• Evaluate current vendor management programs and identifying ways to improve them.
• Act as functional bridge amongst external vendors as well as internal stakeholders.
• Coordinate all vendor management tasks inclusive of working with external vendors and internal employees.
• Troubleshoot all vendor problems and present to management as required.

• Excellent analytical and organizational skills.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Creativity to work around existing business limitations
• Ability to multi-task with the flexibility to shift priorities as required by the business
• Professionalism to work directly with key record label personnel including CFOs and end users in the business
• Thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment

It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Experience with SAP ECC and Ariba On Demand.
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, or related field (required)
• 5+ years of related work experience
