Job Title: Analyst, Label Services

A little bit about our team:

The Order to Cash team performs a wide variety of tasks including issuing invoices, collection of monies owed, cash application/payment coding, tracking data files, liaising with stakeholders throughout the company, account management, tracking of data, project management, etc. This role will specifically support the Label Services AR function.

Here you'll get to:
• Oversee managed tour reconciliations, including collecting from venues that have past-due balances, collecting from road reps, etc.
• Manage all digital advertisers and their O+O (owned and operated) and Branded Content revenue streams.
• Form relationships with high-level stakeholders across several different departments
• Prepare and monitor aged debt reporting
• Leverage SAP and other proprietary financial systems to execute collection tasks
• Develop your forensic research and recovery skills
• Manage unallocated / unapplied cash and keep both accounts at a minimum.
• Lead the cash application process for the label services team; daily application and distribution of lockbox electronic payments and checks.

About you:
• Minimum of 1 year experience in collections
• Higher Education with focus in Accounting/ Business/ Music Business/ Finance strongly preferred
• Financial/Accounting acumen, with an ability to pick up on concepts quickly
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
• Must be an autonomous self-starter, motivated, and be able to resolve problems and work independently within management guidelines
• Must be tenacious, organized and able to establish a positive rapport with internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment
• Must be able to meet deadlines with an attention to detail
• Must possess good interpersonal communication skills (written and verbal)

• Familiarity with music industry
• Strong Excel skills
• Formal training in collections strategies
