WE ARE WARNERMEDIA STUDIOS
WarnerMedia Studios is an in-house creative production organization designed to support WarnerMedia's brands from TBS to TNT, Cartoon Network to TCM, Bleacher Report to Turner Sports and everything in between. THE TEAM
WarnerMedia Studios Design VFX Operations supports the Design/Visual Effects department of artists with project management and operational support. The teams and projects this operations team support range from 3D Animation, Composite, Design, Sports Graphics, Network Graphics and Color Correction and vary in size and duration. Additionally, this team supports operationally by tracking schedules, time off and financial reporting.
THE JOB
We are offering a full-time opportunity to an enthusiastic, motivated and ambitious Operations Apprentice, to be an integral part of the Design/VFX Operations Team, in support of our Studios artists, network and corporate partners. Working under the guidance and collaboration of the DVFX Operations Team, the Operations Apprentice will focus primarily on our sports graphic productions and assist with resource scheduling, tracking requests, entering time off requests of the artists, and communicate to the team and partners of resource availability.
The position good communication skills, organization skills and the ability to think and respond quickly.
A WarnerMedia Studios Operations Apprenticeship is a two-year program
THE DAILY
• Manage and track daily graphics requests to facilitate sports in-game wrap around packaging, studio show graphics, sports social and promotional graphics.
• Communicate directly with producers and project managers at Turner Sports to schedule artists and assist with deliveries of graphics and animations
• Assist with booking sessions and reconciling work orders utilizing an internal scheduling system to track all resources engaged on a project – Sound Design, Edit, 3D, Graphics, Color grading, Composite, licenses, etc.
• Enter hard costs into the reporting tracker and internal scheduling system in order to help tell the financial story behind each project we facilitate on behalf of our Sports Partner.
• Input and manage engineering tickets for Design VFX artists while finding creative solutions to minimize downtime and keep projects on track
• Track and manage Paid Time Off for all Sports Design VFX artists
• Provide operational and administrative support to other project managers
• Work closely with the management/operations team and staff in order to support the planning, preparation, and scheduling of immediate and future needs for WarnerMedia Studios Partners.
THE ESSENTIALS
• Self-motivated/ Takes initiative / Intuitive
• Time management and prioritization skills
• Can work with teams and autonomously as needed
• Excellent written, verbal, presentation and interpersonal communication skills
• Must be organized, with strong attention to detail, while juggling multiple tasks
• Proficient in Microsoft Office
• Experience with budgeting and scheduling a plus
• Proven experience in a production environment
• Availability to work overtime including nights and weekends
