The Job
The CNN en Español TD team is a multi-tasking, detail-oriented and fun group of individuals that must master multiple production disciplines to get the daily job done. In one position, we mix audio, switch cameras, setup/breakdown sets, trigger lighting cues, and control robotic studio cameras. The pressure can be high, but we are known for our professionalism and poise. It isn't enough to operate the gear. We want to understand it from rack to control room. The relationship we have with management and engineering teams is critical.

The Daily
• Responsible for the technical output of all live shows
• Directing and technical directing of live show production, mixing audio, operating Vinten robotic camera control and coordinating the studio for all live and pre-produced programming.
• Collaborating with show teams to create a product seen around the world
• Flexing creative muscles to devise engaging camera shots as well as generating other value driving ideas to shows' production.
• Partner with Engineering to track and provide feedback on issues and workflows.

The Essentials
• College degree or equivalent prior experience
• 3-5 years of control room and studio production experience
• Fluency in Spanish
• A news junkie across any platform
• Ability and desire to work under pressure and in a 24/7 'live news'' environment

The Nice to Haves
• Field camera experience
• Video and audio mixing experience
• Native Spanish speaker
