The Senior Technology Solution Analyst will provide advanced complex business systems analysis services for STAGE 13, Ellen Digital Ventures, Studio Distribution Services and CW. The Senior Technology Solution Analyst is the primary liaison between the business community, technology organization and external partners for all project requirements during the analysis, testing and implementation phase of a project.

JOB RESPONSIBILITY

Business Analysis and Consultation
• Perform business analysis activities as assigned and other BA activities including but not limited to:
• Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring – planning for stakeholder communication, requirements approach and determining BA deliverables
• Drive the elicitation of requirements – actively engage stakeholders in defining requirements that will serve as the foundation for business solutions
• Requirements Management and Communication - initiate and develop a relationship with the client and seek to understand client's business needs/culture to ensures the client's concerns and issues have been appropriately addressed during elicitation
• Requirements Analysis – requirements prioritization, organization, define assumptions and constraints, and validate requirements
• Solution Assessment and Validation – assess proposed solutions and organizational readiness, validate solutions and solution performance
• Perform analysis – document business analysis and solutions
• Business Rules Analysis – define rules that govern the decisions that define, constrain, or enable operational excellence
• Root Cause Analysis – challenge current business thinking to determine the underlying source of a problem
• Process Analysis – analyze processes to identify and remove activities that no longer add value to stakeholders
• Risk Analysis and Management - understanding risk tolerance levels, assessing risks, identifying response strategies
• Assess Process Improvement Opportunities and Gaps - provide guidance as needed for solution implementation and sustainability plans
• Communication Plans - develop and execute communication plans to improve communication from Project Teams to Senior Executives, Stakeholders and Clients
• Provide third party facilitation for discussions to help identify holistic solutions to workflow challenges and mediate group discussions that involve differences of opinion and reach consensus
• Support Project Managers in scope definition and project planning
• Document process maps for projects as needed to document current state and future state processes
• Support the Project Manager and Finance Representative in developing ROI analysis at the beginning and end of projects
• Work with project team to develop and implement training for projects as appropriate
• Work with project team to develop and support test plans for projects
• Develop and monitor processes and procedures to ensure sound management practices are implemented and followed

Project Management
• Take a project lead role on small to medium size projects and assignments supporting Senior Leadership when requested
• Lead project teams in the development of project performance metrics in support of business outcomes - partnering with Net Ops BAs on metrics gathering and reporting
• Take on project leadership role for internal PMO projects
• Manage all phases of projects: Initiating, Planning, Executing, Controlling and Closing - maintain project documentation appropriate to the size of the projects assigned
• Maintain strong lines of communication with project team members, sponsors and clients, coaching project team members as appropriate
• Hold regular team status meetings and necessary working sessions to resolve issues and action items
• Utilize Clarity for project creation and tracking
• Solicit project feedback from team members to gather lessons learned and use as a development tool
• Lead weekly sponsor project meetings to guarantee project progress
• Actively develop project management skillset to support departmental needs
• During the Initiating and Planning phases of projects, support Project Managers in formulating options and associated costs to present to Senior Leadership and clients
• Facilitate meetings between Senior Executives, Project Managers, and clients, outside vendors and other business partners

Departmental Support

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS (NOT MANDATORY)

5 years business analysis experience

1 year experience in entertainment industry preferred

5 years general business management experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

Project management experience preferred

Advanced problem solving and analytical skills

Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
