Job Description
This Sr. Developer is responsible for performing complex design, programming and testing work related to the implementation, enhancement, and support of Middleware software (Enterprise Service Bus (ESB)) to connect core business systems with consumer facing applications.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

This role is responsible for build high quality APIs that are scalable and global at the core. They will build custom policies, frameworks/components, Mule flows, error handling, transaction tracing. Setup Mule Exchange catalogue orgs and assets in Anypoint Platform. As well as:
• Create wrapper APIs based on Mule Anypoint Platform Management APIs for automation and integration of other platforms to API Hosting platform
• Using Mule Management APIs, build onboarding and access management automations to the API Hosting platform
• Setup distributed as well as embedded API gateways with various load balancing topologies
• Setup security models and policies for consumers and producers of API and catalog assets
• Work across various platforms and the associated stakeholders/business users
• Understand and follow company policies surrounding data governance, security, and API development
• Assist integrations team in adopting and learning MuleSoft
• Design, develop, test, and implement technical solutions based on business requirements and strategic direction.
• Assess opportunities for application and process improvements and prepare documentation outlining platform road map.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, optimize, and enhance existing systems.

JOB QUALIFICATION STANDARDS

Work Experience

Required
• 7+ years of Enterprise Application Integration development experience
• 4 + years of MuleSoft development
• Hands-on experience on Building interfaces on any ESB platform
• Experience with implementing various APIs
• Experience in developing large-scale integration and API solutions using MuleSoft
• Experience in creating RAML and SWAGGER based API contracts and mocking services
• Experience in working with API Management, ARM, Exchange, and Access Management modules
• Experience in creating custom policies and custom connectors
• Experience in deploying API / Microservices using various modes including ARM, Containers and Cloud

Highly Desirable
• Experience in management of major efforts including:
• Multiple simultaneous workstreams and development teams
• Iterative agile projects with ongoing releases
• SIT Test Planning, Scripting & Execution
• Experience in Media & Entertainment Industry

Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
• MuleSoft Integration/API pro certification
• Mule 4 and PCE 2.0 experience

Knowledge/Skills

Required
• Development skills/tools such as: Java EE, Eclipse, Unix Shell Scripting, ANT, Python, .Net, PowerShell
• Experience with SDLC development processes (Waterfall, Agile, Lean)
• Experience with source control such as Bitbucket, GitHub or SVN, and Maven
• Experience managing the AnyPoint Cloud Hub environment and supporting existing implementations.
• Experience working with various MuleSoft components, workflow patterns, and how to configure them
• Proficiency in designing Mule components (Mule ESB v4.2 and above, AnyPoint Studio, flows, pub-sub, routing, filtering, database, exception handling, and API Management)
• Must have excellent troubleshooting skills with Mule Runtime, Mule Platform API and Mule Gateway tools
• Knowledge of message sources, processors, and properties
• Knowledge of various AnyPoint Connectors for business application
• Experience in creating APIs with RAML and implementing APIs in other Mule applications
• Extensive knowledge on DataWeave 2.0
