The Job

Warner Bros. Home Entertainment Inc. seeks a Sr Manager, Strategy and Business Planning for the Business Decision & Strategy department.

The Sr. Manager, Strategy and Business Planning will play a crucial role in supporting the development of business strategies across the WarnerMedia Sales and Distribution revenue streams, specifically supporting Content Licensing and Home Entertainment.

The role will report to the Executive Director, Strategy and Business Planning. This role will be expected to bring ideation, rigor, insight and intellectual curiosity to the transformation of our business model in areas that include:
• Content valuation of IP across evolving distribution windows
• Playing a critical role in developing innovative strategies across digital markets
• Assess new revenue and growth opportunities as the business transitions from traditional models of monetization
• Cross-portfolio efforts to optimize value between WarnerMedia and AT&T

The Daily
• Deep trend analysis across key business areas
• Leveraging analyst, retail, industry, and other reports / data to formulate business models, insights and validate financial plans
• Creating executive presentations to review opportunities with senior leadership
• Collaborating across functional areas to ensure all perspectives are considered (legal, business development, finance, accounting)
• Partnering with finance to drive changes in business strategy based on ongoing financial projections
• Developing whitepapers, business plans, business cases

The Essentials
• Understanding of the digital media industry and competitive landscape
• Solid communication (written and verbal) and executive presentation skills
• Extremely organized with ability to effectively manage multiple, time-sensitive projects and competing priorities
• Ability to perform responsibilities with minimal supervision, exercising discretion and independent/sound judgment, while excelling in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment
• Must be willing to expand knowledge relating to industry trends
• Comfortable in dealing with ambiguity / uncertainty
• Bachelor's in Finance, Economics or a related field required. MBA preferred
• Advanced excel required (pivot tables, macros, formulas), with strong proficiency in presentation software other MS Office/Google applications
• 5 years in finance, accounting, consulting, strategy or business development
