Job Description: Senior Project Manager

Senior Project Manager to be responsible for coordinating the day-to-day development work for agile development teams in the media supply chain group. The Senior PM will also be responsible for ensuring that the scope, deliverables and timelines are met by managing all aspects of a project life cycle including project planning, development, change control, implementation, issue management, customer relationships, and team leadership. This is accomplished through effective communication and facilitation skills, risk analysis, organization skills and attention to detail.

Daily Responsibilities:
• Facilitate sprint ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, etc.
• Produce sprint documentation (burndowns, velocity charts, etc.) to be able to accurately communicate the team's progress
• Responsible for removing impediments across the project team to deliver project goals and strategic direction.
• Acting as the team scrum master.
• Understanding all aspects of the Agile project lifecycle and SCRUM methodology.
• Working with third-party vendors and coordinating the development and implementation between third-party vendor and WM.
• Building strong relationships among the business and IT team, managing customer expectations, and translating needs into business solutions.
• Identify and appropriately escalate risks.
• Create project charter and scope, phases, tasks, assignments, dependencies, and target dates.
• Planning, organizing, and facilitating User Acceptance Testing.
• Providing 3rd tier production support issue resolution, when needed.
• Utilizing effective meeting management skills to initiate, develop agenda, conduct, and provide minutes so that all appropriate parties are kept up-to-date regarding analysis decisions, project status and issues.
• Create and groom short and long-term product roadmaps and gain internal agreement with key stakeholders.

Essentials
• College degree or equivalent experience.
• 4+ years of project management skills
• At least 4 years of Agile/SCRUM experience.
• Direct hands on experience with writing user stories and coordinating/prioritizing conflicting requirements in a fast paced, ever changing environment
• Project management with the ability to deliver high quality software solutions.
• Ability to thoroughly understand complex business and technical issues and influence decision making at all levels of the organization without formal reporting structure authority
• Experience with large scale projects
• Strong analytical & critical thinking skills to identify implicit, unstated, and unrecognized requirements.
• Understanding of application interface/user-centered designs.
• Keen understanding of software technology and various software development tools.
• Strong attention to detail including precise and effective customer communications and proven ability to manage multiple, competing priorities simultaneously.
• Superior verbal and written communications skills.
