The Job

The Shop Foreman, Scenic Services is designed to assist in managing a shop crew to support Sports and Entertainment partners of WarnerMedia Studios.

This includes: Overseeing day-to-day operation of scenic shop, management and maintenance of equipment, manage inventory and enforce safety regulations. Assist Shop Manager with supervising and training freelance carpenters, creating and managing work schedules, and assist in planning and organizing construction projects.

The Daily
• Construct scenery and guide freelance carpenters in their construction work.
• Assist in leading construction crews for all productions.
• Training freelance carpenters on proper use of tools, construction techniques, safety procedures.
• Assist in planning and organizing construction projects.
• Responsible for general and basic maintenance of shop.
• Order and maintain supplies.

The Essentials
• 5-10 years of carpentry experience
• 5-7 years of interpreting drawings and design packets
• 5-7 years of leading a team
• 3-5 years of production experience
• Experience with AutoCAD
• Required Education:
• High school diploma
• Bachelor's degree from accredited college/university

The Nice to Haves
• Fork light certification, OSHA certification
