The Job

We are looking for a Staff Growth Marketing Analyst to serve as an embedded member of CNN+'s marketing organization, with specific support for CRM marketing. This seasoned analyst will partner closely with Marketing, Product, Engineering, Data Platform, Marketing Science, and Design leaders to identify opportunities to grow CNN+'s subscriber base effectively via paid marketing channels and initiatives. As an early member of the team, this person is also essential in building the team, instilling data-minded thinking across the marketing organization, and shaping the broader Analytics & Science team's norms and culture.

The Daily
• Own Analytics for Marketing, focused on CNN+, as its head of analytics – your vision and leadership will shape the direction of data products, marketing opportunities, and analyses across multiple platforms and channels
• Build proactive relationships with peers, external agencies, and cross-functional teams to understand the relevant business opportunities and influence the Growth Marketing roadmap
• Lead scoping, prioritization, and resourcing of initiatives for your team and effectively align projects with broader company and Marketing team OKRs
• Work closely with stakeholders to define and deliver effective analytical solutions (self-service data platforms, dashboards, experimentation design)
• Partner with the data platform and engineering team to continually improve the frameworks, tools, and processes supporting analytics in a way that benefits the company, the team, and the product

The Essentials
• years of analytics experience with a Bachelor or advanced degree in a quantitative discipline
• Proficiency in SQL, Git, and R or Python
• Strong communication skills, specifically driving projects and roadmaps in a leadership role
• Experience with A/B testing and experimentation methods
• Experience with one or more visualization tools, such as Looker/Mixpanel/Tableau
• Experience in Marketing analytics for a DTC subscription product is a strong plus
• Experience developing data products is a plus
