Senior Full Stack Software Developer (Golang/React)

The Job

This is not your ordinary Full Stack Developer role! You will be creating patented technology that is challenging and exciting! This team thrives on team work and a great culture.

You will be part of the newly formed WarnerMedia Content Experiences (WMCE) business unit focusing on synergistic initiatives between WarnerMedia and AT&T Business Solutions. This group's mandate is to leverage leading edge technologies in conjunction with the vast WarnerMedia content library to develop customized solutions for corporate partners. The solutions developed by this group are ultimately intended to deliver new distribution opportunities and experiences across all WarnerMedia.

The Daily
• Be a key member of a development-operations team implementing patent pending technologies for delivering new content experiences
• Lead development on a subset of systems/services that make up the WarnerMedia Content Experiences services suite
• Contribute to maintenance of the WarnerMedia Content Experiences services in production
• Work on a cross functional development team of backend services and frontend applications to rapidly innovate and deliver new capabilities
• Work in an agile development environment constantly evaluating priorities to maximize business impact
• Work with external teams as a subject-matter-expert regarding streaming service capabilities within the context of the WMCE suite
• Develop public-facing performant APIs
• Contribute to documentation of internal and external APIs and surrounding service topology

The Essentials
• Combination of the following experiences and the aptitude and desire to learn those items not currently covered
• 12 to 18 months experience with the Go Programming Language is a must!
• 3 to 5 years experience with JavaScript / Node JS
• 2 to 3 years experience with React Native
• 3 to 5 years experience HTML5 / CSS
• 12 to 18 months experience with provisioning cloud services
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Advanced problem solving and analytical skills
• Demonstrated creativity and teamwork skills

The Nice to Haves
• Familiarity with configuring and operating Amazon Web Services, specifically Fargate, RDS, and Docker
• Understanding of Web Video Technologies, specifically with Apple's HTTP Live Streaming
• Understanding of technologies such as manifest manipulation that enable targeted ad insertion in web video streams
• Passion for creating and delivering new services with high reliability
