The Job
Warner Bros. Discovery seeks a Sr. Financial Analyst for the Financial Contracts Reporting & Administration Participations department. The FCRA Participations department handles contractual reporting to talent and co-production companies on all of Warner Bros. film, television, home entertainment, games, and new media libraries. It's an exciting, fast paced organization that provides a unique opportunity to learn many aspects of the company---from production to initial film release through all downstream channels of distribution. The Senior Financial Analyst position is responsible for performing research and analysis to support the Participations Reporting teams. This position reviews and understands contractual agreements, abstracts, and other related written documentation. Additionally, the Senior Financial Analyst will be responsible for enhancing departments systems and tools through involvement in system design and testing; and improving business processes.
The Daily
• Performs special projects, analysis, and research, including running and/or analyzing various reports from multiple systems and SAP. Communicates with a broad set of individuals within FCRA to resolve identified issues. Delivers presentations to management and staff.
• Accumulates production cost, prepares interest calculations, home entertainment statements, term deal calculations and buyout analyses. Responsible for monitoring and preparing deferments. Analyzes expiring distribution deals and calculate locked balances for the Reporting teams.
• Identify improvements and enhancements related to FCRA's participations system and participates in system design and testing. Creates, standardizes and improves business processes for statement preparation.
• Attend technical and conceptual training sessions and cross-divisional forums as needed.

The Essentials
Work Experience
2+ years previous experience in a finance, accounting, auditing or IT environment a plus.
Participations and/or entertainment industry experience strongly preferred.
Business analyst or financial analyst experience a plus.
Experience with system implementations and testing a plus.
Experience in a large corporate environment a plus.
Experience working with blended teams and multiple time zones a plus
Project Management experience a plus
Education, Professional Training, Technical Training or Certification
Bachelor's degree required. (Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, or Information Systems preferred)
Knowledge/Skills
Strong to expert competency with MS Excel and Word, and PowerPoint required.
Must have strong competency in working with multiple systems, applications and SAP; must be willing to learn new IT applications
Very strong knowledge of mathematical concepts and algebra required
Excellent analytical skills required
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required, including development, documentation, and delivery of training materials.
Strong overall understanding of Participations, including ability to read and understand digests and abstracts of legal agreements required
