PRIMARY FUNCTION OF POSITION:

Create and execute a comprehensive public relations plan for Warner Brothers Studio Tour Tokyo (WBSTT). We are seeking a highly qualified, motivated, and enthusiastic individual for our rapidly growing organization. This position is responsible for managing all aspect of PR at the corporate level, drive the development and implementation of a PR marketing strategy in the market to ensure positive awareness and perception of WBSTT. The candidate should have strong writing and communication skills.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: TOTAL 100%

40%:

Build and implement PR plan
• Lead annual PR planning process and manage approval process to get consensus from stakeholders
• Implement annual PR plan to increase the brand's exposure
• Manage and execute press activities such as seasonal press preview, press conferences, press appointments

30%:

Develop and manage a broad range or proactive external communications programs and events in support of WBSTT
• Lead WBSTT content/editorial strategies to drive highly engaging contents
• Draft PR plans, press release, blogs, and other PR content
• Develop crisis management communications plan and keep it up to date

20%:

Lead all aspects of public/media relations and brand awareness on all channels: social media, website, mobile app and email newsletter campaigns
• ­­ Pitch and secure top media, including print, broadcast, and online outlets
• Implement effective brief to agencies and make sure any output is made in timely and proper manner

Formulate summery of monthly PR monitoring results
• ­Track and develop reports on media coverage or PR metrics
• Manage and update calendars and media lists

10%

Work well with a team
• Collaborate with events, advertising, CRM, and E-commerce teams develop cohesive PR plans and to

maximize press

JOB-RELATED QUALIFICATIONS STANDARDS

Education

Bachelor's degree preferred

Work Experience

Minimum of 3 years of related experience in Marketing, Marketing Communications, Journalism and Public Relations, or a similar field

Established media contacts is plus

Strong knowledge of regional media, online and social media community is plus

Experience and success in leading and developing teams

Licenses or Certificates

None

Qualifications

Excellent copywriting and editing skills which includes a well-developed aptitude for grammar and style

Excellent communication in Japanese and Business level or above English

Experience of working with strong/ well-established brands will be preferred

Strong concept of Branding

Experience on crisis management

Good working knowledge of PR concepts and best practices

Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize work

Attention to details with punctuality

Able to perform in a high-pressure/time-sensitive environment

Good at dealing with ambiguity

Action-oriented, proactive in communicating with employees and a team player

Quick learner and self-starter

Skilled in Power Point, Excel, Word
