Warner Bros. Studio Tour London – The Making of Harry Potter is the only place in the world to showcase the authentic sets, props, and behind-the-scenes secrets of the Harry Potter films at the location where they were made, with a sister tour in Hollywood and Studio Tour Tokyo – The Making of Harry Potter to be opened in 2023.

The Job

The Product Designer's role is to create product design ideas for Warner Bros. Tours & Retail, with a focus on the Harry Potter brand in the Asian market. This includes ideation, design and specking through to product development, and in this role you will deliver beautifully designed product in keeping with our brand guidelines that are best in class.

The Daily
• Design, develop and create innovative new product designs to sit within our new Japanese store's ranges, keeping it consistent with brand guidelines.
• Support the rest of the creative team, working closely with the other designers.
• Create spec boards for product ready to go into sampling and manufacturing.
• Assist the other product designers with research on new product areas and ideas.
• Work in collaboration with the product development team, assisting with checking and reviewing samples and drawing up amends spec sheets for the manufacturers

The Essentials
• Proven background in experience in product design and development
• Full use of Creative Suite, with expertise in the use of Adobe Creative Cloud software (particularly Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat).
• Creativity, imagination and energy.
• An excellent eye for detail.
• Have strong communication skills to present ideas to other team members.
• Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills, with the ability to work to tight deadlines.
• Effective problem-solving ability.
• A good knowledge of manufacturing techniques and limitations.

The Nice to Haves
• Experience of designing for Asian markets.
• Degree level qualification in design or a related subject.
